About Us

Our Aims and Objectives are to:

  • Be the voice of the Procurement Practitioner

  • Raise the status and profile of the profession within the HE and FE sectors

  • Facilitate effective networks for the membership

  • Identify, publicise, produce and support best practice initiatives

  • Support the personal development of Procurement Practitioners

We will achieve these aims through the following activities:

  • A bi-annual conference and one-day national event

  • Regional events

  • An e-newsletter

  • The AUPO website and national and regional mail bases

  • Ad-hoc member surveys and focus groups

  • Ad-hoc or semi permanent special interest groups

  • Representation on various procurement groups

  • AUPO is governed by a Council of elected representatives from each region
